5. Locate main circuit breaker on left side of upper frame crossmember. See Figure 1. 6. Remove Keps nut from copper post. Remove main power wire ring terminal (with convoluted tubing). 7. Remove Keps nut(s) from silver post. Remove voltage regulator output, EFI power (2001 models only) and main harness power wire ring terminals. 8. Bend tab on mounting clip outward and remove main circuit breaker.
Installation 1. Install new 50 amp main circuit breaker into mounting clip oriented with the copper post topside. See Figure 1. 2. Install main harness power, EFI power (2001 models only) and voltage regulator output wire ring terminals onto silver post. Start Keps nut on post. NOTE Install only upper Keps nuts on silver and copper posts. Discard lower Keps nuts wherever the previous configuration was double nutted. 3. Place main power wire ring terminal (with convoluted tubing) onto copper post and start Keps nut. 4. Alternately tighten Keps nuts to 20-35 in-lbs (2.3-4.0 Nm).
