Remove the two air box securing screws. FRONT VIEW. standard breather hose. air box. Remove the complete air box assembly. Remove the studs from the throttle assembly. Unclip the standard air feed pipe. Remove the standard breather hose from the cam cover. air feed pipe. Remove the rubber seal if not fitted to the airbox, clean and degrease the throttle body neck. cam cover. Push the plastic tube supplied approx. 1/2 way into the new breather hose, and secure with the hose clip supplied. Fit the air filter to the throttle body up to the step in the filter base. Do not push in beyond the step as this will affect air flow. Tighten the clip until the filter just turns. Rotate the filter until the K&N logo is straight then give the clip one full turn, (360 degrees) no more. Don’t overtighten the clip. Fit the new breather hose between the cam cover and the filter base. Ensure the breather hose is clear of the throttle mechanism and enters the base of the filter at 90 degrees. Using all the necessary safety precautions remove the shaded section of the front bumper using a pad saw or similar. Carefully lengthen the flexi cold air hose to 80cm/32″. Feed the hose down between the engine and radiator and the below the alternator to the cut out section of the lower grille…
